Blogmas Day 11: Blogmas Interruptus

Hello! Yes I am still alive! I kind of dropped off the face of the blogging earth for a few days. I'll be honest; it's not been a great few days.

Sidenote: If you're reading this chronologically, which you probably are because I posted them that way (I really did not think this through!), I missed days eight through ten of Blogmas so I back-posted the content that I would have put up then and then this little explanation. Right, back to your regularly scheduled Blogmas...

My head very much wrecked itself and I was in a bit of a downward spiral for most of the week. It was a culmination of lots of different stresses which wasn't helped by my hormones. Yeah. Like I said, not a great week. I'm feeling so much better now but it did throw Blogmas off course for a few days, hence why this and a couple of other posts are all going up on the same day.

I did have all the posts pre-written and all I had to do was add photos but I got so inside my own head that I just ended up hating every photo that I took and at one point sobbed at my camera! It wasn't all bad though because that hatred and loathing led me to read many, many blog posts on how to improve my blog photography and to buying some blog photography props. I'm actually really happy with how the photos for my next couple of posts have turned out. I know I have a long way to go but I'm just a little itty bit proud of myself too.

I do feel really sad that Blogmas got so off track but I honestly couldn't help it. My mental health is an up and down journey, it just so happens that this down was a really big one. It happens and what matters most is that I'm feeling better now.

I hope you enjoy the little spam sesh of content coming your way! Also do let me know if you like the photos! I'm looking for any and all constructive criticism!

    1. I am feeling better thank you! I've prewritten like 90% of my posts, it's just the photography I'm finding tricky to find time for. I work two jobs and study full time so it's proving a struggle x
