What's In My Everyday Makeup Bag

Hello lovelies!

For my fifth #Blogtober post I'm sharing what's in my everyday makeup bag!

I have a confession: for someone that loves makeup as much as I do, I don't wear it very much!
However when I can be bothered to do my face in the morning it usually consists of these products!

Nivea Soft Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream
Day to day I don't tend to use a primer. It's just a personal preference of mine. I pop this on my dry patches and where my makeup tends to rub off! It's great for rehydrating my skin but it's also got glycerin in it so it keeps my makeup in place as well!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair
I don't like wearing foundation on a daily basis. Honestly it's a lot of effort when I'm rushing out the door and I just prefer to use a bb cream. However being an ol' pasty face, I find it really hard to find a bb cream that isn't too dark for my skin. So I use my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection under my eyes and basically all over my face. Buffed in with a small brush it gives a really nice light coverage and then I set it with a powder.

MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation
My go to powder is the MAC Studio Fix Plus. It gives me that little bit of extra coverage and gives a lovely smooth finish to the skin!

Rimmel Brow This Way Gel
I love a good brow as much as the next gal but there are some, most if I'm honest, days that I can't be bothered with the powders and the pomades so I'll just brush this through my brows to fill them out a bit.

Mac Brow Sculpt Pencil
However if I'm feeling like a more defined brow on the daily, I'll sketch out the shape and fill in the gaps with this bad boy and then set with the Rimmel Brow Gel.

Makeup Geek Eyeshadows
I alternate eyeshadow palettes all the time but the shadows I reach most for are three of my Makeup Geek Shadows. Cocoa Bear, Mocha and Shimma Shimma. I use Cocoa Bear  as a transition colour, Mocha to define my crease and Shimma Shimma all over the lid. I also sometimes use Shimma Shimma as a face highlight, you can see that it's been well loved!

L'Oreal Flash Lash Superstar X Fiber Mascara
I have really short and straight lashes so an all rounder mascara is a must. I like them lifted and voluminous. This mascara does exactly that. It's kicked my Benefit Roller Lash to the kerb for the time being!

Makeup Revolution Ultra Sculpt and Contour Kit
This little palette is an absolute godsend and a must if you're on the go! I think this is my third one of these palettes and when this hits pan, I'll be buying another! I use this every single day. It's one of my makeup staples. The bronzer isn't too warm for my skin, the blusher isn't too intense and the highlight pops like nothing normal!

Maybelline Color Sensational The Mattes Lipstick in Clay Crush
This was a completely accidental makeup find. I was going on a trip and at the airport I realised I'd left my beloved Mac Velvet Teddy at home. I quickly went to Superdrug to find a lipstick that would do me the weekend and quickly purchased this one. Over the course of that weekend and ever since, I have reached for this lipstick as my go to. I love the colour, the staying power and the fact that it's a good bit cheaper than my previous favourite lipstick!

I hope you all enjoyed this little look inside my makeup bag! Are any of your staples in here? Let me know in the comments!
